Short Form Improv Comedy 101 (Registration) - Starting January 24th (EARLY BIRD PRICING ENDS JAN. 10th)
Short Form Improv 101 is ImprovBroadway's introductory short form improv course that is great for beginners or veteran improvisers. The class introduces the basics of short form improv comedy.
Students will learn improv games and skills like seen on Whose Line is it Anyway?
This class is the pre-requisite for Short Form Improv 201.
Early Bird Price (Ends Jan. 10th): $100
Class size: 10-15
Duration: Each level is 5 weeks, once a week, for two hours a session.
Class Time: Mondays, January 24th - February 28th, 5:45-7:45 PM
Class Requirements: Students must be 18 years or older to take the ImprovBroadway courses and be willing to abide by ImprovBroadway's family-friendly content policy. To graduate each course, students must arrive on time to each session, attend each class to completion, maintain good hygiene, attend one ImprovBroadway show (students will be provided a complimentary ticket) within the duration of each course, and perform in a graduation performance at the conclusion of 201, 301, and 401.
About: Each course after 101 requires completion of the previous course to continue to the next level. Classes are not just for aspiring comedians and performers, so don't hesitate to take the courses even if you don't have the desire to become a performer.
