Sketch Writing 101 with Studio C Writer Sam Forsey
Sketch Writing 201 is ImprovBroadway's second sketch writing course. Great for beginners or veteran sketch writers. This class introduces the basics of how to write comedic sketches, including finding the game of your sketch, writing in different formats (parody, topical, etc). Students will be expected to write sketches outside of class. This class is the pre-requisite for Sketch Writing 301. In order to graduate, students must attend all classes, show up to all classes on time, abide by the G-rating content policy, and attend one ImprovBroadway performance during the 5-week course (a complimentary ticket will be provided).
Time: 8 PM - 10 PM, every Wednesday from June 6, 2018 to ending July 11th, 2018 (no class on July 4th)
Location: ImprovBroadway Theater - 496 N 900 E, Provo, UT (Right by Vasa Fitness)
Graduation Show: July 11th, 2018
Required Materials: Students must provide their own equipment for writing and sharing sketches
